About

Live, Laugh, Love and be Mary 🙂

Growing up, I danced very little, but played a LOT of basketball with my mom as my coach. When I started taking dance class at the “old” age of 11, I was hooked, and after a year, I declared “I’m going to dance for the rest of my life!” Incredibly, I have done just that!

I graduated from Oklahoma City University with my Bachelor’s of Science in Dance Management. OCU is the Rockette training ground and provided a great foundation for training in the American dance forms of jazz and tap dance. After OCU, I move to Atlanta, picking up Southern hiphop, and became a member of Culture Shock Atlanta. In Atlanta, I hustled. I was everything from a bgirl to a showgirl, but my favorite gig was performing with the Dames Aflame, as part of Kingsized Entertainment. With Kingsized, I performed at venues creating glitz and glamour, choreographing and performing burlesque and showing off those high kicks!

Next, I performed on the General Jackson Riverboat, working with another Mary Roberts! From a river boat to a cruise ship, Stiletto Entertainment sent me out to the Westerdam, the Bestie Westie, for my first ship contract. After that first contract, I went on to open the Celebrity Eclipse, with shows produced by Poet Theatricals. During 5 years with Celebrity Cruises, I also opened shows produced by Marguerite Scott Entertainment and Vox Lumiere. In my total time at sea as a dancer, I performed 8 contracts in 6 years, and visited over 40 countries! I love the cruise ship industry, and am so grateful to have transitioned from performing on stage to installing and directing production shows, as well as choreographing events for some of the world’s biggest and most beautiful ships!
