Let’s collaborate!

It’s one of my favorite phrases because it’s exactly how I like to work! I create with others whether it means working with Horns Unlimited and Andre 3000 of OutKast for the opening of the Heroes Awards, stepping in to choreograph a feather fan dance for Black Radio Exclusive’s Man of the Year Gala, or more recently, choreographing Royal Caribbean’s newest 80’s Party for the opening of the Symphony of the Seas. Favorite Projects

One of my favorite projects was becoming the choreographer for a winter wonderland in Atlanta, GA, called Santa’s Fantastical. This space is every bit as whimsical as you could imagine and the shows I choreographed were filled with high energy, humor, and tons of fun! In my collaboration with the producer and artistic director of the space, Sarah Blackman, we collaborated and added props galore to one of the shows, nicknaming that show: “Props-Mas.” (For a whimsical holiday, click here.)

Joy in the Process

While I love to choreograph, as a production show supervisor with Norwegian Creative Studios, the creative branch of Norwegian Cruise Lines, I learn already set choreography. Choreographers for NCS include world-reknowned choreographers Tiger Martina, Patti Wilcox, Jill Hillier, Chase Benz, John Skufca, and Casey Johnson. I teach their choreography, then direct and install these incredible shows onboard the stunning ships of Norwegian Cruise Lines, Ocean Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the ongoing legacy, directing new cast members in shows as diverse as the ship’s ports of call. (To see more amazing NCL productions, click here.)
